My December Potty Training Chart

December 2012 Potty Training Chart

Well since November is almost over I created a potty training chart that I hope both the hub's and myself can of course keep ourselves on track with...

Since I've got two boys and ton's of star stickers I figured I could do potty charts with stickers and money if they complete a week. So here is what we are trying

Whole Week
Sean- gets a silver star
Connor- gets a green star

Pee's on Potty
Sean- gets a red star
Connor- gets a blue star

POOP's on the Potty

GOLD STAR with their initial on it

If they complete a whole week of going to the bathroom on the potty and informing us every time they get $5.00 reward that goes into a bank or special envelope for them so that at the end of the month they can see how much money they earned by going to the bathroom... (this might bite me in the ass eventually but if I can get them to start I can eventually take the money part out of it)

Then on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Years Eve if they can do the whole day without an accident or forgetting to tell us they will earn an extra 2.50 that will go into their special envelope or bank that they will see in the end of month (it's a thing we aren't telling them- hidden tool for mommy/daddy)

but I know that the stars work cause they love to see stars fill up a month ...

So there is my POTTY TRAINING CHART IDEA FOR DECEMBER that's all ready to go... now let's pray it works and we all can follow through on it.... Wish me luck... and hey if you have any idea's post them I love to hear what others have tried and are doing cause if it hasn't worked for you it might for me... and hey maybe some of my idea's might work for you... Good Luck Mommies & Daddies out their in the potty training world!

Un-Deleted & Back

Well I'm Back... I realized this might be another good way to get advice on potty training after all....

Well my oldest is now 4 years old and very against potty training while my youngest is only 22 months and is very for learning how to potty train. I'm honestly feeling like a tad failure when it comes to my oldest cause he's so against it while my youngest is for it.

So stay tuned for further updates on how we are doing...

-What I've got going is a potty training chart with stars and rewards... let's see if this works :D

trying really hard not to stress :(

My oldest turns four in September. I want him to go to daycare/preschool but some require both parents working full-time jobs and that they be fully potty trained, yes my son's not fully potty trained, he only informs us when we are out in public. For me it's harder to explain to him how to go since mommy sits down on the potty and he constantly wants to stand on it like daddy, and daddy refuses to take him to the bathroom with him. So it's really left on me to do, which is hard when your pregnant and are raising two kids.
I love the fact that he tells us when we are out, but wish he'd tell us when we were home, do any of you other folks out their that happen to read this or come across this have any tips for a mom who just wants the best for her children. Plus I am really trying not to have three children in diapers come December that might be a little much for me physically and financially.

Welcome to the starting days of potty training

Well I've got a three year old and a 18month old who I'm currently working on potty training with, let me tell you the stories you'll hear from a three year old at this age about potty monsters are freaking comical.

This will be my journal along the way... well feel free to share some insight, ideas and stories of your own about potty training if you have kids, and feel free to use some of my ideas and insights when potty training your children.
